WoWoWee

I'm really fond of most of the Kapamilya shows, even Wowowee does not fail to cheer me up. It's something that makes you "count your blessings" or at least recognize them after watching those almost-desperate people who are joining the different games played in the whole show. Watching those kinds of people, especially the kids and teens, makes you stop complaining about how out-of-trend your clothes, shoes, and cellphones are. It makes you to stop complaining about how difficult it is to make money, or how hard it is to ask your parents for money.

I must admit that there have been a number of times when I shed tears while watching the show. The one episode I really can't forget was when they have invited the parents of the less-abled or the gifted kids to play one of their games. Here is a video that I have got from Youtube.com .. just watch it and see what I am talking about..

Just listen to the lyrics of the song "hawak kamay"..Having it sung by a gifted child makes it a lot more special, or shall I say, meaningful.

Yes there are a lot of shows that are being produced at the moment. Some are even revisions of the shows that already has made its history in the hearts of the Filipinos..but, shows like Wowowee, and I'm looking through the content (and the idea) of the show and not only its hosts, make me always ponder on what things really matter in this world..or if I have a problem, does my problem really weigh more than what the others are carrying and experiencing at the moment? Shows like that reminds you of being human, of being true, of being selfless, and a lot more. Props to the makers of Wowowee. You are truely No. 1. (charing)
